Anyone looking for fresh ideas to strengthen their workplace, business or community is invited to attend the Rural Development Conference on Thursday, Oct. 22, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at North Iowa Area Community College.
The conference will feature a full day of professional development, networking and practical ideas attendees can put to work. Breakout sessions will cover topics including business growth, leadership and team development, artificial intelligence and innovation, funding and resources, succession planning, employee wellness, agriculture, tourism and economic development.
The day will also feature keynote speaker Dima Ghawi, who uses stories and lessons from her global leadership experience to inspire individuals to build confidence, embrace change and grow personally and professionally.
The Rural Development Conference is open to everyone, whether you work for a business or organization, are an entrepreneur, work in agriculture, are involved in your community or simply want to learn something new.
Registration is $29 and includes lunch, all conference sessions, the keynote presentation and a closing ice cream social. The registration deadline is Oct. 21.
