YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Waterloo couldn’t keep Youngstown down Saturday night as the Phantoms completed a weekend United States Hockey League sweep of the Black Hawks with a 5-2 win.

Following a scoreless first period, Ben Copeland gave Waterloo a 1-0 lead 3 minutes, 54 seconds into the second. Just :31 later, Youngstown tied it. Jackson Cates put the Black Hawks up 2-1 at the 10:07 mark, but again the Phantoms pulled even just 1:23 later.

Youngstown then knocked him three unanswered goals in the final period.

Waterloo fell to 25-13-3-1 on the season while the Phantoms improved to 22-15-4-1.
