WAVERLY — Waverly-Shell Rock won three individual titles, but Fort Dodge has too much firepower overall as the Dodgers edged the Go-Hawks at the Rick Caldwell Invitational.

Fort Dodge finished with 228 points, followed by Waverly-Shell Rock (194) and Crestwood (173.5). Waterloo East had 129 points for fifth place.

Evan Yant at 126, Ian Heise at 138 and Dalton Woodyard at 145 won championships for Waverly-Shell Rock. Kaden Anderlik won the 120-pound title and Colter Bye prevailed at 160 for Crestwood.

East’s Tyrell Gordon decisioned Brayden Wolf of the Go-Hawks 12-6 for the 195-pound crown. Chryshaun Taylor took second at 113 pounds.

Cedar Falls got fourth-place finishes from Bailey Roybal and Jack Plagge, fifths from Jackson Barth and Anthony Chiattello, a sixth from Tanner Doyle, a seventh from Jakey Penrith and an eighth from Dakota Southworth.
