DECORAH — Cedar Falls put together an eighth-inning rally to defeat Decorah 8-5 in non-conference baseball Monday.

The Tigers improved to 17-16 on the season while the Vikings slipped to 20-8.

CRESTWOOD 3, WATERLOO WEST 1: Crestwood pitcher Kristian Szajna allowed just three hits and an unearned run to lead the Cadets past Waterloo West 3-1 in non-conference baseball action Monday.

West (6-32) grabbed a 1-0 lead in the second inning, but Crestwood (11-18) plated three in the fourth to end the scoring.

Ethan Hoppe knocked in two of the runs and Szajna drove home the other. Clayton Ollendieck and Szajna had two hits each as the Cadets collected eight in all.

Crestwood heads into district play Friday at Waverly-Shell Rock. West hosts Decorah today to wrap up its regular season.
