BROOKINGS, S.D. — Northern Iowa had 10 top five finishes Saturday at South Dakota State’s Jim Emmerich Invitational.
Highlights on the men’s side included a runner-up finish from the 4x400 relay of Jojo Frost, Sven Van Den Bergh, Jordan Pingel and Connor Blough (3:13.38).
Frost was also fourth in the 400 (48.61) and Pingel was third in the 800 (1:52.20). Evan Long was third in the 400 (48.53), Keegan Tritle was fourth in the shotput (57-7.75), Cameron Cantrall was fifth in the high jump (6-6.75) and Connor Ham was fifth in the 200 (22.10).
On the women’s side, Brette Correy was runner-up in the mile (4:51.11). Hannah Truniger was third (9:54.81) and McKayla Cole fifth (9:58.57) in the 3,000, Jasmine Blue took third in the 60 (7.78) and Kassidy Sharp was fourth in the high jump (5-3).
