CEDAR FALLS — The University of Northern Iowa won 14 events and posted a 189-111 dual win over Nebraska-Omaha in women’s swimming and diving action Saturday.

The Panthers swept the relays, starting with the quartet of Katie Taylor, Olivia Knowles, Moriah Ross and Molly Lembezeder in the 200 medley relay (1:47.78). Ross, Crystal Florman, Maya Appleton and Lembezeder capped the meet by swimming 3:30.04 to win the 400 freestyle relay.

Individually, Kyle Engstrom won the 1,650 freestyle (17:50.10) and the 500 freestyle (5:14.08), Lembezeder won the 200 freestyle (1:54.31) and 100 freestyle (51.88), Taylor took the 100 backstroke (55.99), 200 breaststroke (2:24.24) and 400 individual medley (4:26.72), Ross captured the 100 breaststroke (1:05.33), Kelsey Ostrowski touched first in the 200 butterfly (2:10.19), Izzy Bunchek won the 1-meter diving (245.00), Madison Rinaldi won the 200 backstroke (2:09.53) and Florman was the winner in the 100 butterfly (57.49).
