NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Brooke Craig posted her first complete-game shutout in the first game and Northern Iowa walked off with a 10-inning win in its second game Sunday at Belmont University’s Bruin Classic.

Craig held North Carolina A&T to two hits and didn’t walk anyone in a 9-0 rout. Freshman Emma Valainis went 3-for-3 with a pair of RBIs in her first career start, Sammey Bunch matched a career high with five RBIs and had a home run among two hits. Claire Dudek and Tianna Drahn also had two hits each.

The Panthers (13-7) got a 10-inning complete game from Jaclyn Spencer, but gave up two unearned runs before pulling out a 3-2 win on a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the 10th.

Spencer allowed three hits and struck out seven while also driving in two runs, and Brittney Roby had two hits.
