FORT WORTH, Texas — Bridget Carleton heated up in the second half and Iowa State surged to a 66-63 Big 12 Conference women’s basketball win at TCU Wednesday night.

With the Cyclones trailing 28-25 at halftime, Carleton scored 21 of her 26 points over the final two quarters to fuel the comeback.

Iowa State (11-14, 5-9) built a 47-39 lead after three quarters, but the Red Raiders (16-9, 7-7) went on an 11-0 run to regain the lead. Carleton and the Cyclones then responded down the stretch to pull out the victory.

Emily Durr added 16 points and six assists for Iowa State while Claire Ricketts set career highs with 13 rebounds and six blocked shots.
