PHOTOS: Stacey Snyder's trip to Antarctica
Stacey Snyder, an expanded learning program teacher at Orange and Lowell elementary schools in Waterloo, spent six days on and around Antarctica during a Lindblad Expeditions trip on the ship National Geographic Explorer. She left Iowa Nov. 27, 2019, and returned Dec. 10. Following are pictures she provided from the trip.

Stacey Snyder traveled to Antarctica recently after receiving a Grosvenor Teacher Fellowship. She saw a rare blue whale and lots of penguins. She also jumped into the ocean.
