WATERLOO – Waterloo police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing woman.

Authorities said 40-year-old Lakisha Quintel Williams was last seen over the weekend. Her mother called police early Thursday after being unable to reach her.

Williams is described as a black female, about 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds. She has brown eyes and black hair.

Williams’ mother told police she last heard from her on Jan. 16, and her employer also called authorities after she failed to report for work on Monday, according to Waterloo police. She was last seen around 5 p.m. Saturday at her at her Paige Drive apartment, according to police.
