WATERLOO — A Waterloo man was arrested for assaulting his sister and refusing to drop a kitchen knife when officers arrived.
Deion Marqualis Commack, 22, of 108 South St., was arrested April 8 at home and charged with aggravated domestic assault and interference with official acts while in possession of a weapon.
Waterloo Police say they were called for a domestic disturbance and found Commack had assaulted his sister, Ameerah Ball, who lives with him.
Commack refused multiple requests from officers to drop the knife, according to police.
Commack remained in the Black Hawk County Jail as of Thursday on a $47,000 bond.
