WATERLOO | A Waterloo man died Sunday morning in a shooting outside Porsches Theater of Arts, 1850 W. Airline Highway.

The victim was identified as Justin Montravious Dollen, 27. The Johnson County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed Dollen was pronounced dead at University Hospitals in Iowa City after being transported there early Sunday.

The shooting took place outside the business in its parking lot at about 3:30 a.m., police said.

Police said Dollen suffered numerous gunshot wounds.

The investigation is ongoing. On Sunday afternoon, Waterloo Fire Rescue personnel brought an aerial truck to the scene so police investigators could take photographs from a higher point of view.

The business was formerly known as Fantasy Theatre Juice Bar.

It was the second time Dollen was the victim of a shooting in less than a year. He also was previously convicted of shooting another person.

In November, Dollen was shot in the leg in the 700 block of Dawson Street. At the time, Dollen was on parole for a willful injury charge stemming from a May 2008 incident in which he shot a teen sitting in a car parked at a Broadway Street store.
