Cedar Falls police seek help to identify woman in homicide investigation

CEDAR FALLS – Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman in a photo as part of the investigation into the Nov. 11 shooting death in Cedar Falls.

Police would like to speak to the woman as to what she saw.

Police said the woman was observed walking in the 800 block of West 23rd Street at or about the time Alex Michael Bullerman, 18, of Waterloo, was shot and found behind an apartment building at 2303 Olive St., according to Cedar Fall police.

A second person, 18-year-old Dylan James Gehrke of Waterloo, was injured in the shooting and arrived at a hospital by private vehicle with a single gunshot wound to his lower right leg.
