CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (AP) --- Officials say an autopsy shows a Cedar Rapids woman who was found dead in an alley next to her taxi died of stab wounds to the head and neck.
The Gazette in Cedar Rapids on Monday says the Linn County medical examiner released the autopsy results on Monday. The death of 54-year-old Cathy Stickley has been ruled a homicide.
Officers were sent to the alley a little after 10 p.m. Friday. Officers and medical personnel tried to revive Stickley, but she died at the scene.
Stickley's family told the newspaper that she worked for Century Cab. No arrests have been made.
