NORA SPRINGS - Adam Michael Lack, 33, of Nora Springs, formerly of Cedar Falls and Rockford, died Sunday, July 13, in a single-vehicle accident in rural Mitchell County.
He was born May 13, 1975, in Mason City, son of Gary and Veronica Naumann Lack.
Mr. Lack graduated from Buffalo High School, Buffalo, Wyo., and recently received his degree in business economics from Brown University, Providence, R.I. He had formerly owned and operated the Floyd Y restaurant, Floyd, and more recently had operated the Eagle's Nest bar, Nora Springs. Until the time of his death he was an ethanol plant operations supervisor at POET Biorefining.

Survived by: his mother of Nora Springs; three brothers, Anthony of Baytown, Texas, Benjamin (Fernanda DeCollo) of Des Moines and William (Brandi Moon) of Iowa City; and two sisters, Tanya (Shawn) Hamilton of Dallas and Heidi (Robert) Thunhorst of Iowa City.
Preceded in death by: his father.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Charles City, with inurnment at a later date. Public visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hauser Funeral Home, Charles City, with a 7 p.m. vigil scriptural wake service. Visitation also an hour before services Friday at the church.
