Jake loved his family and his horses. After battling an illness in 1970 he chose to enjoy the simpler way of life. With his horses, he enjoyed the smell of the fresh turned soil, the sounds of clinging tugs and the rustling winds. You could find him driving his horses to plant corn, cultivate, mow hay, cut oats or bobsledding with his family.
