DENVER — Ella M. Feller, 93, of Loveland, Colo., formerly of Denver, died Wednesday, Feb. 7, at the Good Samaritan Home in Loveland.
She was born March 25, 1924, in La Porte City, daughter of Alvin and Eva Mengel Dunkelberger. On Nov. 29, 1944, she married Duane Robert Feller at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Waterloo. Duane passed away in 2011
She graduated from La Porte City High School. Ella was a homemaker and a longtime member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Denver. She recently moved to Colorado.
Survived by: two daughters, Peggy (Jerald) Brekke of Loveland and Susan (Roger) Pigg of Bettendorf; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Alvina Koepke.
Preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; three brothers, George, Archie and Ralph; and two sisters, Vera Palmer and Elizabeth “Betty” Bristow.
Services: 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Denver, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until services Thursday at the church. Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home in Denver is in charge of arrangements.

Ella enjoyed working in the flower and vegetable gardens and then canning the harvest. She was a great pie baker and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. Above all, she enjoyed the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
