CEDAR FALLS — Alma Dee Heath, 82, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, Feb. 28, at Western Home Communities Nation Cottage.
She was born Oct. 31, 1936, on a farm near Bristow, daughter of Hollis and DeAlda (Manifold) Overturf. On Dec. 22, 1956, she married Philip Heath in Cedar Falls.
She graduated from Malcolm Price Laboratory School and was a member of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include: her husband, Phil Heath of Cedar Falls; three sons, Shawn (Merri) Heath and Kevin Heath, both of Waterloo, and Brett (Jackie) Heath of Cedar Falls; a daughter, Stacy (Sean Redmond) of Waterloo; six grandchildren, Chad, Sam, Mandy, Baylee, Brady and Dantre; and two great-grandchildren.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, at Fredsville Lutheran Church, rural Cedar Falls, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery in Cedar Falls at a later date. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home and one hour before services at the church.
Memorials: may be directed to Fredsville Lutheran Church Building Fund, Western Home Communities Chapel Fund or Nation Cottage, UnityPoint-Allen Hospice or the family.
