An open concept and contemporary style characterize this custom home by Panther Builders. “It’s what many home buyers want in a home design — open living spaces and the kitchen as a gathering place,” says Corey Henke of Panther Builders.
The company, known for high quality finishes, specializes in custom-built homes that allow customers to focus on their personal taste and wishes, with a design team to provide guidance.
The 3,120-square-foot home features a main and lower level, three bedrooms and three baths. Natural light fills the rooms and the crisp neutral color scheme throughout provides a sense of continuity. The floor is a Shaw laminate, Alloy 5004 from the Designer Mix collection, a nice complement to Sherwin Williams paint, Worldly Gray 7043 that covers the walls.
A galley-style kitchen with an island and four bar stools separating it from the living room appears open and spacious with custom white Bertch cabinetry. The Shaker cabinet doors suit other contemporary finishes and furnishings in the space. Using Hanstone quartz countertops in pristine white Royal Blanc continues the monochromatic theme.
The fireplace wall is the focal point in the great room with its comfortable sectional. On the other end, a round table surrounded by six tall-backed upholstered chairs are perfect for more formal meals.
In the great room, a neutral sectional creates a cozy seating space near the foca fireplace. Glass walls enclose the four-seasons room, bringing the outside in and providing a sense of seclusion without feeling too removed.
A Murphy bed transforms the office into a bedroom, a masterful space-saving element. In the master suite, the bath is walled in subway tiles with porcelain tiles laid horizontally on the floor. The lower level features radiant heat in the stained concrete floors.
