Al-Anon Family Groups is a mutual support program for those whose lives have been affected by someone else's drinking. Alateen is part of the Al-Anon fellowship and is for younger family members and friends. By sharing common experiences and applying the Alateen principles, teenagers can bring positive changes to their individual situations, whether or not the alcoholic admits the existence of a drinking problem or seeks help. There is a concurrent Al-Anon Family Group and Alcoholics Anonymous meeting at this time and location that are held in different rooms.
