Four new associates joined VGM Group in Waterloo. LYNN PALMER is a customer service representative for VGM Education and was with Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota. ANGIE ROYER is the first impression receptionist, previously working at Agape Therapy. VGM’s HOMELINK division added two new associates: ABBY CAMARATA, previously a dental assistant and a graduate of Hawkeye Community College, is a patient care coordinator for Workers’ Compensation, and LANDON MENNEN is a patient care coordinator.
MEGAN YTURRIAGA joined Alternatives Pregnancy Center as executive director. She moved from Hawaii where she was a Christian school director. She has a master’s of science in management from Indiana Wesleyan.
ELIZABETH ANDERSON joined the Hellman agency as a senior account executive. Anderson has a marketing degree from the University of Northern Iowa, and has more than 18 years of experience in the marketing and advertising industry.

Iowa Heartland Habitat for Humanity has hired new staff. KRISTI ROSONKE is an executive assistant, was with West High School and is a graduate of Hawkeye Community College. ALLIE RICHMAN, a Luther College graduate, is a Neighborhood Services coordinator, previously an Americorps Construction assistant with Habitat. KELSEY DELP is the Habitat ReStore assistant manager. She was with OP Restaurants and is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa.
MEG SERNETT joined PDCM Insurance as an HRConnect consultant. She has more than 19 years’ experience in human resources and the insurance industry, and received her bachelor of arts degree in management-human resources emphasis from the University of Northern Iowa.
MARABETH SONESON and HEIDI SOLHEIM were appointed board members of First National Bank. Soneson, of Cedar Falls, is owner/president of Acorn Advisers Marketing. Her background includes experience in health care and finance. She is the former executive director of Cedar Falls Community Main Street, and was a vice president at WebMD/Emdeon. Solheim is director of Community Relations at Waverly Health Center, where she has worked in several areas, including communications and marketing.
TODD ROHLFSEN, president of Farmers State Bank, Waterloo, recently retired. Rohlfsen will continue to be a member of the bank’s board of directors. He had been with the bank for 34 years. RODNEY DUROE, current chief executive officer, was appointed president and CEO of the bank.
