KELLY BALVANZ has rejoined the Courier as a recruitment specialist. A graduate of Upper Iowa University, she also previously was with Mauer Eye Center and Next Generation Wireless.

ANDREW BELL of AHTS Architects completed the licensure process to become a registered architect in Iowa. He graduated from Wartburg College in 2008 and received a master’s degree in architecture from Iowa State University in 2011. His experiences as an intern with the State Historic Preservation Office and Benjamin Design Collaborative brought him to AHTS Architects for further internship late in 2012.

Staff appointments at Dupaco Community Credit Union’s Cedar Heights Drive location in Cedar Falls include: MACKENZIE DAMM, community outreach and education representative, MARINA HENRIKSEN, member service representative and MEGAN REDMOND, branch manager.

Dupaco Credit Union made the following staff appointments at its locations in Waterloo: DYLAN BULS, AVP, branch manager at the Mullan Avenue location, and SCOTT MANGIN, consumer/mortgage lending consultant, TONYA McGLAUGHLIN, AVP, branch manager and KYLE PASSICK, member service representative, all at the San Marnan Drive location.

JAMIE ZIMMERMAN joined Hellman as an art director. Zimmerman graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in graphic technologies and a minor in marketing. Her previous experience includes local printing and advertising firms.

LISA MOREHOUSE was promoted at Veridian Credit Union to consumer lending relations underwriter. Morehouse, of Waterloo, was employed at Veridian for 23 years, most recently as a loan officer.

KAREN BOBST and YVONNE ELAHI joined the team of realtors at Century 21 LSB Real Estate.

AMBER DIBBEN started her new role of manager of professional development at UnityPoint Health-Allen Hospital. She has a master’s of science in nursing degree with an emphasis in nursing education and was previously the professional development coordinator.

BECCA BLAKESLEY moved into her new role as clinic nurse educator at UnityPoint Clinic. She has degrees from Hawkeye Community College and Allen College and has been a nurse since 2009. She will remain in her frontline nursing role at UnityPoint Clinic Family Medicine-Cedarloo part-time.

JULIE KROEGER accepted the position of 3-medical nurse manager at UnityPoint Health-Allen Hospital. She has degrees from Wartburg College and Allen College, joined Allen Hospital in 2012 and started her nursing career in 2013.
