Cedar Falls is a thriving Midwest city of 39,260 residents, in
a population center of 100,000 plus. The city, home to the
University of Northern Iowa, is located on the crossroads of
several state and interstate highways. Cedar Falls is less
than a four-hour drive from Minneapolis, Chicago,
St. Louis and Omaha. Along with neighboring communities,
the area commonly referred to as the Cedar Valley, offers all
the amenities of larger urban settings, but with a hometown
environment.
As a school district, we draw strength and values from the
community around us, and the Cedar Valley is one of the
thriving, dynamic areas of the Midwest. It is home to great
people, a vibrant economy, and a family-friendly lifestyle.
