PITTSBURGH — Chicago put up three first-period goals and broke away for a 4-1 win over Waterloo in the USHL Fall Classic exhibition matchup Thursday.

Four different Steel players found the back of the net and goalie Derek Schaedig finished with 20 saves.

Jack Drury had the lone goal for Waterloo on a game-high three shots. The Black Hawks return to exhibition action tonight with a 5 p.m. matchup at Dubuque.
