MARION — Cedar Falls won the first 10 bouts during a 52-18 Mississippi Valley Conference dual win over Linn-Mar Thursday night.
The Tigers (12-11 overall, 3-2 Mississippi Valley Conference) made a strong opening statement as Justin Campbell (285) and Jakey Penrith (113) recorded pins around Bailey Roybal’s win by forfeit at 106.
In total, Cedar Falls finished with six wins by fall as Anthony Chiatello (132), Christian Simpson (138), Lincoln Willett (152) and Tanner Doyle (160) pinned their opponents.
Linn-Mar rallied with wins in the final four matches after falling behind 52-0.
