FAIRBANK – Coming off its first win of the year, Valley Lutheran suffered a 73-41 setback at Wapsie Valley.

Isaiah Armbrecht finished the contest with 23 points sinking three treys for Valley Lutheran. Armbrecht finished the first half with 18 points.

WEST FORK 62, APLINGTON-PARKERSBURG 60 (OT) – Kollin Cuvelier scored a career high 26 points in Aplington-Parkersburg loss to top-ranked West Fork at home.

The Falcons forced overtime after a Ross Cooper 3-pointer tied the score at 52 with 16 seconds left. However, West Fork went on a 6-0 to start overtime and finished the win at the free-throw line.

WEST FORK (19-0) – Hunter Myers 11, Spencer Halloran 13, Sam Amsbaugh 12, Ryan Smit 6, Payton Plagge 18, Kyle Parcher 2.

APLINGTON-PARKERSBURG (11-6) – Kollin Cuvelier 26, Alex Johnson 2, Tyler Peters 4, Dakota Cox 14, Ross Cooper 7, Richard Uhlenhopp 3, Aaron VanDyk 4.

APLINGTON-PARKERSBURG 50, WEST FORK 27 – Eighth-ranked Aplington-Parkersburg pulled out to a 25-12 halftime lead, which ballooned to a 23-point win.

The Falcons were led on the night by Haleigh Hempen, who finished with a 20-point, 11-rebound double-double.

WEST FORK (10-9) – Courtney Larson 2, Kelsey Nierengerten 4, Taylor Logan 3, Sydney Shreckengost 11, Mattie Siesken 2, Lindsey Peterson 3, Mickee Guritz 2.

APLINGTON-PARKERSBURG (16-2) – Haleigh Hempen 20, Amanda Dunn 11, Bri Pruisner 2, Shelby Sandoval 4, Kellan Koch 2, Laura Toben 4, Bailey Luebbers 7.

WAPSIE VALLEY 56, POSTVILLE 30 – Wapsie Valley finished the contest hitting 24 shots from the field in a 26-point win over Postville. Abrah Meyer and Courtney Dinsdale led the team with 12 points apiece.

SUMNER-FREDERICKSBURG 74, TURKEY VALLEY 29 – Sumner-Fredericksburg hit 13 3-pointers in the contest with Keegan Meier leading with five. Meier finish with 15 points as Sumner-Fredericksburg jumped out to a 43-11 halftime lead.
