WATERLOO — Kansas City’s Noah Watkins scored a go-ahead goal 13 minutes, 57 seconds into the second period and Landen Kehl added an empty-netter as the Jets secured a 3-1 win over the Waterloo Warriors Friday night at Young Arena.

Waterloo (4-2-1) tied unbeaten Kansas City (7-0-0) when Kole Latusick scored off assists from Mason Lamb and Carter Herbst 5:36 into the second period.

Kansas City finished with a 33-22 advantage in shots.

Goaltender Chase Pabst helped keep Waterloo within striking distance as he recorded 30 saves.
