AMES, Iowa - The Cedar Falls Tigers finished first in the Little Cyclone Invitational cross country meet, scoring 46 points and winning by 20 over second-place finisher West Des Moines Dowling.

Individually, Tanner Reyhons finished in second place with a time of 16 minutes, 29 seconds . He was 11 seconds behind the winner, Connor Wells of Des Moines Roosevelt.

Waterloo West finished in eighth place in the team standings. Anthony Ohl topped the Wahawks individuallyl, finishing in 30th place with a time of 17:40.

Cedar Falls' top runners all finished within the top 20 and posted times under 17:30.

Tiger coach Troy Becker said, "I was happy with our performance and how we did against a full roster of great teams."

Said West head coach Matt MacKenzie, "I was very pleased with how our team ran. I was happy that 13 of my runners ran personal bests today."
