CEDAR FALLS — New Hampton hung with Cedar Falls for awhile Saturday night, but the second-ranked Tigers eventually wore the Chickasaws down in a 74-33 non-conference girls’ basketball win.

Cedar Falls, now 15-1 with a 12-game winning streak, led 19-12 after one period and 39-21 at halftime. The Tigers dominated in the second half when they outscored New Hampton (9-7) 35-12.

Offensively, Cedar Falls had plenty of options. Kamryn Finley led the way with 22 points, Anaya Barney finished with 17 and Emerson Green and Cynthia Wolf scored 16 apiece.
