WATERLOO EAST 64, CHARLES CITY 46: Behind 30 points from Kerris Roberts, the Waterloo East girls' basketball team beat Charles City 64-46 Tuesday.

Amanee Clark chipped in 18 points for the Trojans (5-12). Roberts and Clark combined to make 18 free throws.

CEDAR FALLS 61, DECORAH 35: Cedar Falls had no problem handling Decorah Tuesday night, using an 18-4 second-quarter scoring advantage to roll to a 61-35 win.

The Class 5A sixth-ranked Tigers (16-1) won their 13th straight and had six players score at least seven points. Calli Johnson and Cynthia Wolf each finished with 10.

CEDAR RAPIDS XAVIER 70, CEDAR FALLS 60: AJ Green had a stellar performance on Tuesday night, but it wasn't enough as Cedar Falls dropped a 70-60 result to Cedar Rapids Xavier.

After pulling ahead 32-30 at the half, the Tigers were unable to hold the lead, and the Saints pulled away with a 23-point fourth quarter.

Green scored a game-high 33 points for the Tigers, who dropped their third game in a row.

DUBUQUE HEMPSTEAD 86, WATERLOO WEST 65: Carondis Harris-Anderson scored 25 points, but Waterloo West couldn't put together enough defensive stops to hang with Dubuque Hempstead.

The Mustang offense had a prolific first half, scoring 21 points in the first quarter and 29 in the second.

LINN-MAR 73, WATERLOO EAST 61: Linn-Mar rode the dominant performance of Trey Hutcheson, who scored 42 points in the Lions' win.

Hutcheson hit six 3s and was a perfect 11 of 11 from the foul line, helping Linn-Mar blow open a game that was tied at the half.

East's Tyrese Nickelson nearly matched Hutcheson's output in defeat, scoring 37 points on six 3-pointers.
