EUGENE, Ore. — Brandon Carnes wrapped up his stellar University of Northern Iowa career Wednesday with an All-America performance at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Carnes finished 13th in the 100-meter semifinals with a time of 10.16 and became a second-team All-American for the second time to go with a pair of honorable mention All-America honors.

Christian Coleman of Tennessee topped the semifinal field with a 9.82 that broke the meet record and college record set in 2011.

Carnes, a senior from Bradenton, Fla., won all 16 Missouri Valley Conference titles in the indoor and outdoor 100- and 200-meter dashes during his career. He leaves with UNI records in the 60, 100 and 200.
