CEDAR FALLS — Northern Iowa defeated Sioux Falls 166.5-99.5 Saturday for its first home dual women’s swimming victory of the season.

The Panthers won 11 events. Crystal Florman, Moriah Ross, Katie Taylor and Molly Lembezeder teamed up to win the 200 medley and 200 freestyle relays.

Individual winners were Taylor (100 breaststroke), Florman (100 freestyle), Jordan McCullough (500 freestyle), Lembezeder (50 freestyle), Ross (100 butterfly), Madison Rinaldi (200 individual medley), Kylie Engstrom (200 freestyle), Kelsey Ostrowski (200 butterfly) and Olivia Knowles (200 breaststroke.

In diving, freshman Izzy Bunchek qualified for the NCAA Zone Championships.

Friday, the Panthers lost to Big Ten power Nebraska, 162-80.

UNI won five events, starting with the opening 200 medley relay with Taylor, Ross, Florman and Lembezeder.

Taylor added victories in the 200 freestyle and 100 backstroke while Lembezeder won the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle.
