CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. — Northern Iowa settled into fifth place Tuesday as the Missouri Valley Conference women’s golf championships wrapped up at Dalhousie Country Club.

The Panthers were third after the first two rounds, but shot only the seventh-best score (313) in Tuesday’s final round. Missouri State won the title by 20 strokes over Wichita State.

Individually, Allison Rolinger finished eighth for UNI at 228 after carding a 75 Tuesday. Maddie Bertsch tied for 11th at 235. Kayla Katterhenry of Evansville was the medalist with a score of 218.
