PEORIA, Ill. — Northern Iowa wrapped up its cross country regular season with a strong performance Friday at Bradley University’s Pink Classic.

In the Red Race, Brette Correy took 15th (21:29.0) and Hannah Truniger 18th (21:30.5). Lindsey Brewis of Loyola was the winner in 20:36.3.

In the Open Race, Gabby Champion was second (22:39.4), Alyssa Williams fourth (22:45.8), Alayna Kollasch 15th (23:26.7), Maddie Reynolds 20th (23:33.3) and Tess Roorda 24th (23:35.3). Stef Smith of Windsor was the Open winner in 20:54.2.

In the men’s race, Luke Johnston led UNI with a 67th-place run in 25:53.3. Iowa’s Nathan Mylenek won in 24:26.2.

Next up for the Panthers are the Missouri Valley Conference championships Oct. 28 in Springfield, Ill.
