The Upper Iowa wrestling team will compete in memory of Logan Luft Friday night when it hosts Minnesota State-Mankato inside Dorman Gymnasum.
Luft, a native of Charles City who died tragically after a ATV accident last summer, was an organ donor, and his family was close to Peacock head coach Heath Grimm. Donate Life Iowa, which is part of the Iowa Donor Network organization, will be on hand at the 7 p.m. dual.
The Waterloo Black Hawks have added defenseman Ben Finkelstein to their roster.
Finkelstein, a 20-year-old native of Vermont, was most recently with St. Lawrence University. A seventh-round pick of the Florida Panthers in the 2016 draft, Finkelstein had three goals and nine assists in 20 games with St. Lawrence this season and in 37 games last year at St. Lawrence, he had five goals and 18 assists.

Kelsey Havel will sign to play volleyball at Iowa Western Community College, and Brenna Jacobs will sign with the Wartburg College track and field program.

Iowa State has announced the hiring of Frank Rizzo as an assistant coach in track and field where he will coach the sprinters and hurdlers.
Rizzo spent the past five seasons at Syracuse where he tutored a pair of All-American hurdlers, including NCAA runner-up Freddie Crittenden III. Rizzo is a University of Pittsburgh graduate with a background in strength and conditioning who began his coaching career at Richland High School in Johnstown, Pa.
