IOWA CITY — Seventh-ranked Michigan won the final four matches, including a 3-2 decision at 285 pounds, to hand fourth-ranked Iowa a rare Big Ten dual wrestling defeat at Carver-Hawkeye Arena Saturday.

Freshman Spencer Lee got the Hawkeyes (9-2, 4-2) off to explosive start with a pin of seventh-ranked Drew Mattin at 125 pounds. Vincent Turk won at 141 and Brandon Sorensen pinned his opponent at 149.

Iowa was missing second-ranked Michael Kemerer at 157 pounds and after Alex Marinelli won at 165, it was all Wolverines.

The dual came down to the final match where second-ranked Adam Coon fought off third-ranked Sam Stoll to pull out the team win for Michigan (8-2, 5-1).
