EVANSTON, Ill. — Iowa reached the 20-win mark for the season Sunday as the Hawkeyes defeated Northwestern 70-61 in Big Ten women’s basketball action.

Iowa (20-6, 8-5) shot 57 percent from the field and led for all but three minutes.

Megan Gustafson had another big game for the Hawkeyes with 25 points and 16 rebounds for her 24th double-double of the season. Gustafson hit 10 of 12 shots and all five of her free-throw attempts.

Kathleen Doyle added 15 points, six assists and four steals, and Makenzie Meyer chipped in 12 points.
