CEDAR FALLS — I have a question for Ronald Heth (letter April 10): Did you know we all have roots in Europe, Asia, Africa, etc? We are a nation of immigrants. The difference between our immigrant ancestors and those falling under DACA is our ancestors immigrated to this country legally.
I wish someone from the left could give a logical explanation of their opposition to enforcing our nation’s immigration laws. Why is it OK to disregard these laws? And why is it wrong for our president to try to uphold the law, as well as to protect our borders? A nation with no borders is no nation at all, so Mr. Heth, you see it is the liberals who are intent on ruining my country.
