WATERLOO — On Sunday, the Waterloo Community Playhouse continues its tradition of opening a rehearsal for the public to watch.
The playhouse is currently in rehearsals for “The Trip to Bountiful,” which opens in November.
The open rehearsal is from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the WCP Walker Building, 224 Commercial St. No tickets are necessary.
Director Greg Holt will explain some of the rehearsal process, share design ideas and answer questions about the production.
“The Trip to Bountiful” tells the tale of Carrie Watts who is in the twilight of her life, trapped in a Houston apartment in the 1950s, with a controlling daughter-in-law and hen-pecked son. Her fondest wish is to revisit Bountiful, the small Texas town of her youth.
