WATERLOO, Iowa — A driver and passenger were sent to hospitals with injuries suffered in a one-vehicle truck rollover in the 14800 block of Foulk Road at 11 p.m. Saturday.

The driver, Jonathan Roettger, 16, of Dysart, was taken to University Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, and the passenger, Huston Danker, 15, of Traer, was taken to Covenant Medical Center, both with multiple non-life-threatening injuries according to Black Hawk County sheriff’s deputies.

Deputies said Roettger lost control of the vehicle, causing it to enter the west ditch. The truck continued across a residential driveway, through the front yard, struck a fence and rolled several times before coming to a rest on its top in the west ditch.

The accident remains under investigation. Deputies were assisted on scene by La Porte City police and firefighters.

WATERLOO --- On Saturday at about 11 p.m., Black Hawk County sheriff's deputies responded to the 14800 block of Foulk Road on a report of a single vehicle rollover accident with injuries.

The driver of a Ford F250 truck, which had been traveling north on Foulk Road, lost control of the vehicle causing it to enter the west ditch. The truck continued across a residential driveway and through the front yard. It then struck a fence and rolled several times before coming to a rest on its top in the west ditch.

The two occupants sustained non-life threatening injuries and were transported to Covernant Medical Center by La Porte City Ambulance.

The names of the passenger and driver are being withheld at this time and the accident remains under investigation. Black Hawk County Deputies were assisted on scene by La Porte City Police and Fire.
