LISBON, Iowa (AP) --- Authorities say several Lisbon High School students have been punished for bullying and harassment.

A student on the eastern Iowa school's wrestling team had reported being hazed, including being urinated on.

In a statement to the station, Superintendent Brad Laures said a report of misconduct was received on Dec. 20. He says a subsequent district investigation determined that policies barring bullying and harassment had been violated, so "serious disciplinary action" was taken against several students. He did not elaborate.

Police Chief Rick Scott says incidents have been reported to his department and are being investigated.

These are some sick individuals. What do the "parents" think of their sons' activities? I hope the punishment is more than a slap on the wrist.

Cannot believe that this crap still goes on! Sexual harassment cannot be tolerated!

I hope they punich the individuals not the wrestling program. It would be a shame if the program suffered because of it. I would not be opposed to seeing the individuals involved suspended from all athletics for the rest of the school year. Or even a 1 calender year suspension.

An athletic suspension for a year might prove a point....
