CEDAR FALLS - A Dubuque man was arrested for allegedly threatening a police officer early Sunday at a nightclub in Cedar Falls.

Police were called to handle a disorderly person at Ice Ultra Lounge, 2202 College St., at 1:08 a.m.

Staff members were holding down Zachary Evan Pape, 19, when police arrived.

Pape resisted arrest, pushing officers away and pulling one officer to the ground with his hands and feet.

Officers doused him with pepper spray and shocked him with a Taser.

Later, while being transported to jail, Pape threatened to find the officer's home address using the Internet search engine Google and shoot him if not released, according to the report.

Pape was charged with first-degree harassment, public intoxication and interference without injury.

CLARIFICATION: Cedar Falls Police Chief Jeff Olson said Zachary Pape was not admitted inside Ice Ultra Lounge prior to being arrested near the establishment early Sunday morning. Police reports stating the incident occurred in the lounge were incorrect, he said. The original story said Pape was fighting with patrons in the establishment.

Some of you are so small-minded. It isn't about city limits. It's about community, which is bigger than arbitrary boundaries.

I would agree Gar, build the wall fine with me. Keep Waterloo's money and hospitals for Waterloo only. Might as well only sell Tickets at Gallager/Bluedorn to Waterloo people only since Waterloo money paid for it. It will be fun to watch the business's in the CF industrial park go down with no Waterloo money supporting them. Better to spend the million plus dollars of gaming money that has been donated to CF in Waterloo fine with me!!!

No...there wouldnt be a charge against the establishment even if the guy got a public intox charge during arrest. These bars can't determine how much a person has had to drink before entering the door or what they might have stashed on themselves to consume in the bathroom. Its amusing how many people turn to "Beck Bashing" at the mere mention of any out of norm activity at his establishments. He doesnt delegate who acts like idiots in these places. There are some clothing restrictions but i dont think he could add: No IDIOTS to the list. I like his bars minus the people who coat checked their common sense.

Law officers do NOT need to put up with this kind of behavior. This person is a prime example of how not to behave. I hope he is punished to the full extent of the law. The truth is he will probably not get much more than a slap on the wrist. The bottom line is NEVER THREATEN A LAW OFFICER.

Any charge against the bar for serving a minor? If he was arrested for public intox, I'm assuming that maybe he was served there.

Reminds me of a joke - two females on vacation were driving through Arizona! Filling their vehicle gasoline tank at a gas station, the attendant gave them a long look but didn't say anything! They paid for the petrol and were about to leave, the attendant could no longer resist, he inquired, are you "LAIDIES" Navaho or Arapaho? Their quick response, Oh no, we Waterloo ho!!
