--- The Iowa Shrine Bowl All-Star Football Classic and Parade is today. The parade begins at 9:30 a.m. in downtown Cedar Falls. The game is 4 p.m. at the UNI-Dome.
--- A community law enforcement picnic begins at 11 a.m. at Sullivan Park in Waterloo, preceded by a 9:30 a.m. gathering for a peace march beginning and ending at the park. Kids’ activities, entertainment and guest speakers are planned. Firefighter equipment will be on hand as well as the sheriff’s motorcycle patrol.
