DECORAH --- Hundreds of Luther College graduates will return to campus this month for the Weston Noble Alumni Choir reunion and the Luther All-Bands reunion.
The fifth annual choir event will begin with rehearsals July 24, and members of Luther classes from 1949 to 2001 will gather for four days.
The choir will perform at 8:30 p.m. July 28 in the Center for Faith and Life. The concert is free and open to the public.
Noble retired in 2005 after 57 years as director of Luther ensembles.
The bands reunion will be on campus July 29-31 and will bring together former members of the Concert Bands, Varsity Bands and Wind and Percussion Ensembles that performed under the direction of Noble and Frederick Nyline.
The reunion concert will be at 3 p.m. July 31 in the Center for Faith and Life.
Nyline retired in May after 38 years conducting.
