HUDSON — Four people are on the ballot Tuesday in the Hudson Community School District, vying for three open Board of Education seats.

They include Kala Featherstone of 4001 Ranchero Road, Cedar Falls; Brenda Klenk of 303 Pheasant Lane, Hudson; Matt Sallee of 217 Whitetail Ridge, Hudson; and Traci Trunck of 4201 Butterfield Road, Cedar Falls. Trunck is the lone incumbent seeking re-election. She has served one term on the board.

Current board members Jerry Griffith and Liz Folladori are not seeking new terms. They were first elected in 2006 and 2013, respectively.

The positions are elected at-large, so all district voters can cast ballots for each of the seats.

Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. in Hudson and all other Black Hawk County school districts. More information about school elections, including who’s on the ballot and where polling places are located, can be found online at www.co.black-hawk.ia.us.
