WEST UNION -- A West Union man faces burglary charges after deputies reportedly caught him in the act.
On Monday at about 4 p.m., the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office received a call to the Echo Valley Event Center on Highway 18 east of West Union for a report of a burglary in progress.
As deputies arrived, a vehicle was leaving the scene and was stopped. Upon investigation, it was learned tha Brian Fullhart, 34, of West Union, had broken into the event center and stolen some items. Fullhart was charged with second-degree burglary and interference with official acts.
Also arrested at the scene was Zoanne Fullhart, 34, also of West Union, for interference with official acts. Both were transported to the Fayette County Jail where they were held for an initial appearance in court. The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the West Union Police Department.
