WATERLOO -- A Waterloo woman has been arrested for allegedly trying to run over her boyfriend's relatives while her children were riding in her vehicle in September.

Black Hawk County sheriff's deputies arrested Tamra Lynette Williams, 25, of 3310 W. Fourth St., on Feb. 3 on warrants for two counts of assault while displaying a weapon, third-degree criminal mischief and three counts of child endangerment. She was later released from jail.

According to court records, Williams drove at Taequonda Anderson and Deb Davis in reverse in the 100 block of Dawson Street on Sept. 24. Her 2006 Chevrolet struck several trees and a dog kennel and didn't stop until it broke down, records state. Police said they determined the three children in the vehicle weren't properly restrained.
