OSAGE -- An Osage man will spend 90 days in jail after he assaulted a man in October.
Daniel Robert Warner, 29, was convicted of assault while carrying a deadly weapon. According to a criminal complaint, Warner assaulted another man and pinned the victim to the floor at his house in Osage.
Warner held the knife to the victim’s throat, and the victim thought he was going to be stabbed, according to the complaint. He suffered a fractured jaw, and cuts and bruises on other parts of his head.
Warner was sentenced to 180 days in jail, 90 days suspended. He was also given a $625 suspended fine, and must undergo a mental health evaluation.
