WATERLOO — The Grace Reformed Church will welcome chalk artist Randy Davis of Ottumwa into their services on Sunday.
Davis will present a visually illustrated message as he does a live drawing during both the 9 a.m. traditional and 10:45 a.m. contemporary services.
An offering will be received for his ministry.
The church is located at 520 Maxwell St. The community is welcome.
AMVETS Riders dinner Saturday
EVANSDALE — The Evansdale AMVETS Post 31 Riders will host a grilled steak/ham dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, open to the public.
Karaoke will follow.
The Riders also will host a motorcycle run June 2, originating at the post.
Signup starts at 9 a.m., with kickstands up at 11 a.m.
Admission for the ride is $10 per person, with proceeds going to help veterans. There will also be a steak supper that evening at the post.

Veterans pool tournament set
WATERLOO — The Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association 39-3B and the Black Hawk County Veterans Affairs will host a veterans pool tournament June 23 at BJ’s Sports Bar, 110 Ida St.
Registration will be at 11 a.m., with a start time at noon. Games will be open 8 ball and a partner tournament.
Entry fee is $10, or $5 if registered with the Black Hawk County VA Office. Bring a DD214.
Prizes go to first, second and third places. All proceeds go to Black Hawk County and surrounding area veterans.

Lions Club set to meet Monday
WATERLOO — The Waterloo Lions Club will meet at 5:30 p.m. Monday at the event room at Cadillac Lanes.
The program will be presented by Chris Waring, the director of the Iowa Lions Hearing Aid Center.
