CEDAR FALLS, Iowa ---- Police have identified a man whose death at a condo complex is under investigation.
Daron Lee Jungers, 42, of 4606 Ashworth Drive No. 2, was found unresponsive in a car at the complex parking lot. the State Medical Examiner’s office is performing an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
Chemicals were found in the vehicle. Police Chief Jeff Olson said exposure to those undisclosed chemicals may have been intentional. Cedar Falls Fire Rescue’s hazardous materials team was called in to neutralize the substance in the car.
CEDAR FALLS, Iowa --- Police are investigating a suspicious death at a condo complex in Cedar Falls.
Police and paramedics were called to the 4600 block of Ashworth Drive at about 7:30 a.m. Thursday after a passerby spotted an unresponsive man in a car at the complex parking lot.
Chief Jeff Olson with the Cedar Falls Police Department said the man was dead, and there were chemicals in the vehicle. He declined to identify the chemical, but he said the exposure to it may have been intentional.
The Iowa Medical Examiners Office in Ankeny has been contacted to perform an autopsy to determine the cause of death, Olson said.
The identity of the man hasn't been determined, but Olson said he lived at the complex.
